HOW DO I BOOK AND PAY FOR MY SPRAY TAN?
The best way to book your Glow is online. Click the link HERE to have access to our online diary. Payment is made via our booking system 'Fresha', it will ask you to input your card details and fill out a consultation form. No payment is taken until after your appointment has taken place. We do not accept cash for appointments.
BEST TIME TO BOOK MY SPRAY TAN?
A Spray tan is at its best 48hrs after application so please bear that in mind when choosing your slot. (For example if your event is on Saturday evening, Thursday evening would be the best time to have your spray tan appointment)
HOW DO I PREPARE FOR MY SPRAY TAN?
IN THE DAYS LEADING UP TO MY SPRAY TAN
Exfoliation is key! Please ensure on the days leading up to your appointment you begin to exfoliate head to toe. It is best to use a mitt for this as they deliver the best results. You can purchase a mitt from us at £6.00. Email us here to order yours and we will post it to you prior to your appointment.
ON THE DAY OF MY SPRAY TAN
Shower before we arrive (at lease 60 mins before if you can!) Remove all make up, body lotion and deoderant

We will bring all the equipment needed for your spray tan, you will only need to provide your own underwear.

HOW MUCH DOES A GLOW BY ANDREA SPRAY TAN COST?
WHAT IS THE COST?
A Glow By Andrea mobile spray tan costs £30.
We offer all new clients 10% off their first spray tan with us. Once you have fallen in love with your spray tan, and you wish to have them more regularly, we offer special memberships with great savings to be made. Check them out here
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THAT COST?
Our highly skilled and experienced therapist will travel to you, set up in the comfort of your own home, where you can relax immediately after your appointment. We provide all of the disposables you need for your appointment (hair net, sticky feet, barrier cream, wipes and spray tan solution) we do sometimes add a surcharge if we are travelling to an area we don't cover but this will all be pre discussed before you book.

We allocate 30 minutes for your spray tan appointment.
WHAT SPRAY TAN SOLUTION DO YOU USE?
We are very proud to say that we use our very own 'Glow by Andrea' solution. After years of using Suntana (which is still an amazing tan) we finally made our own solution which is still very similar to the suntan tan just better. Our favourite is the Express solution.
WHERE DO YOU SET UP?
​The spray tan tent is around 6ft tall and 3ft wide so your specialist will need a good space to allow the tent to pop up. Please ensure the tent can go in a place where there is good light and access to a plug. Low light & cramped spaces can result in reduced visibility so please be as accommodating as possible.
Please allocate us a space that is tiled/hard floor as opposed to carpet. The kitchen tends to be the best place in general.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIAL?

There are a few occasions you can have the trial, it can be anytime really, as long as its at lest 2 weeks before your big day. It can be quite good to tie it in with the following occasions:
Make Up trial (Your make up artist will thank you!)
Hair Trial
Hen Party!
Any other time you plan to hit the town with your fiancé or girls!

WHY DO I NEED A TRIAL?
Just like with your hair and make up, you want to make sure the tan is right for you. Our therapists are fully trained to ensure the tan is just how you want it for your wedding day, so the trial is there to ensure you get exactly what you want for your big day.

WHEN SHOULD I HAVE MY WEDDING SPRAY TAN?
You should have your spray tan 2 days prior to your wedding day, for example, if your’e getting married on Saturday, it would be best to have it on Thursday evening.
DO I HAVE TO SPRAY MY FACE?
No you don’t, but again we will discuss this in your trial. For wedding day spray tans we usually recommend a quick spray on the face as opposed to our usual 2 full sprays on the face. And some people just avoid having the face done at all, it’s totally up to you, it will be discussed with you at your trial and added to your appointment notes!
WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TAN LINES FOR MY WEDDING?
Thats fine too, lots of people spray tan in the nude! Don’t mind us were totally used to it.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING WAXING/SHAVE?
Waxing should be done at least 48hrs before your spray tan so bare this in mind when you are booking everything in!
You should shave 24 hours before the spray tan to allow your pores to close or after you tan has developed.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING NAILS?
Wedding nails can be done anytime before or after your spray tan, just not while your tan is developing (so this is up to 8 hours right after you’ve been sprayed) we always wipe your nails after your spray tan so they won’t get ruined we promise!
Another thing to bare in mind is that it would be best to have your pedicure done prior to your spray tan as your nail technician will likely scrub your feet and you don’t want your tan coming off.
WHICH COLOUR SHOULD I CHOOSE?
Our go-to choice for wedding day spray tans has got to be light - express tan!
The express tan is an absolute game changer & works incredibly for weddings. It means you only have to stay in your spray tan for 1.5 hours, and there is no chance of ‘scuffing’ your tan in your sleep. We will of course offer you all options for your wedding day, and always carry the traditional 8hour overnight tan too if this is your preference, but again this will all be discussed with you any your trial appointment.
CAN I GO SWIMMING/SPA/HOLIDAY AFTER MY SPRAY TAN?
Of course you can! And we’d love you to show off your beautiful colour to everyone. Yes of course the chlorine and sea water will make your tan fade a little quicker, but you won’t end up with dark bits floating in the pool if that’s what you’re thinking! Just ensure to lightly exfoliate on holiday/at the spa/pool and this will help your tan scrub off nice and evenly.
CAN MY PARTNER HAVE A SPRAY TOO?
Yes of course he can! I’m sure once he sees your trial tan, he’ll be super jealous and want one too. Just let us know if you want to add a partner onto the booking and we’ll be happy to spray you at the same location :)
